Dr. Mary Grace Pennella

A native of Parsippany, New Jersey, Dr. Mary Grace Pennella attended Parsippany High School, serving as co-Editor In Chief of the Yearbook and President of the Student Council.

She earned an Associates Degree in Business Administration from the County College of Morris and an Associates Degree in Fashion Merchandising and Buying from the Fashion Institute of Technology. 

She spent eleven years working in the fashion industry for a variety of retailers including Evan Piccone, L. S. Ayres and Famous Barr.

Dr. Pennella returned to school to pursue a degree in Chiropractic, graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2000.  While at Palmer, she served on the student newspaper, student council and the Student International Chiropractors’ Association, resulting in her being awarded Most Outstanding Student at graduation.  In addition to these activities, she traveled to India as part of a mission trip with the Clinic Abroad Program and performed a four-month chiropractic internship for friend and mentor, Dr. Bob Killingbeck. 

Since 2000, she has served as Vice President of the Indiana state chapter of the Alumni Association.  As an advocate of patients’ rights, she is active in the legislative initiative of and currently serves as secretary for the International Chiropractor’s Association of Indiana.

Her passion for Chiropractic, which is obvious from having only a casual conversation with her is summed up with her own words, that “there is nothing more humbling or more impressive than witnessing the power that made the body, heal the body.”

Dr. Pennella has also served on the boards of Geist Holy Spirit Theatre and the Italian Heritage Society of Indiana, where she currently serves as President.
