Sandra is our newest staff member. She joined Stillpoint Family Chiropractic in Sep 2009 as a part-time Chiropractic Assistant (CA). She resides just down the road in McCordsville with her husband of 23 years. She enjoys outdoor activities such as gardening, hiking, boating, and camping, as well as cooking and reading. Sandra is active in local and national animal rescue. She fosters, rehabilitates, and transports dogs for ECHO Dogs White Shepherd Rescue. She is also a trained volunteer with Emergency Animal Services Rescue (EARS). EARS volunteers are ready to deploy at a moment’s notice when animals are in crisis due to natural or man-made disasters.
Sandra believes in a pro-active approach to wellness – for her that means getting regular chiropractic adjustments, and acupuncture when needed. She walks daily and gets massages every two weeks. She consumes whole foods and takes whole food supplements regularly. (Of course she has been known to polish off a basket of fries at Red Robins! Moderation is the key.) Sandra believes the body has an innate ability to heal itself. When the spine is properly aligned and the body is well nourished, it is set up to heal itself and to function at its highest level. She believes that by caring for her body and by living a wellness lifestyle, she is maximizing her health potential and preventing future dis-ease. This mind-set made her a natural fit at Stillpoint Family Chiropractic….where Wellness is the mission. Dr Pennella eats, drinks, lives, and teaches wellness. It has been a real joy to work with such a passionate practitioner in an environment which promotes healthy living. It has been equally gratifying to engage with patients who are interesting in learning about their bodies and positive lifestyle choices they can make to improve the quality of their health.
